Our rates are calculated purely on a per-word basis depending on the tier of service you select. For instance, our Proofreading service is priced at 2.5 cents per word, while our Comprehensive Developmental Edit is 7.5 cents per word. We never charge hidden fees, and the quote you receive upfront is the final price you pay.

Absolutely. We highly encourage authors to request a sample edit before committing to a full manuscript project. If your manuscript is over 50,000 words, we will edit your first 1,000 words entirely for free. This ensures that our editor's style perfectly aligns with your creative vision and voice.

No, we offer flexible payment plans. Standard practice is a 50% deposit to secure your spot on our editor's calendar, and the remaining 50% is due upon delivery of the final edited manuscript. For larger projects, we can break payments down into three or four installments.

We exclusively accept and work within Microsoft Word (.docx) format. This allows our editors to utilize the industry-standard "Track Changes" feature, ensuring that every single edit, suggestion, and margin comment is clearly visible to you upon return.

It is entirely your book, and you have the final say. All of our structural and line edits are delivered as "suggestions" rather than forced changes. As you review the returned manuscript, you can simply click "Reject Change" on any edit that you feel does not align with your creative vision.

Turnaround times depend strictly on the word count and the level of editing required. A standard 80,000-word novel typically takes 3 to 4 weeks for a developmental or line edit, and 1 to 2 weeks for a proofread. We establish a firm, guaranteed deadline before any contract is signed.

Your ideas are your own, and we fiercely protect them. Before any manuscript is uploaded to our secure dashboard, both parties sign a legally binding Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). You retain 100% of your copyright and future royalties.

No editing service can guarantee a traditional publishing deal, as the market is highly subjective. However, our rigorous editing processes are designed to elevate your manuscript to industry standards, significantly increasing your chances of landing an agent or succeeding in self-publishing.
